Lumps and Bumps

I have A Lump.

Charles The Vet says he will Take My Lump Away before it grows into a Big Lump.

Take it Away?

Anyway, it has been Hot. Pickle Rolls in Water. (I Don't Like Wet).

Pickle Plays Ball when it's Hot .  Zara Plays Ball when it's Hot.

I am Ten Years Old now.

I like Lying in the Shade.

Zara Sometimes Goes Mad and Chases Pickle Around the Sitting Room.

I Bark.

Milly Watches.

Person Shuts Pickle in his Crate.

Person Shuts Zara Behind the Dog Den.

Zara hasn't Got a Lump like Mine. Zara is only just Four Years Old.

Person says Zara is Too Young for Lumps and Bumps.

Perhaps the Vet, when he Takes my Lump Away, can Take Pickle Away too?

    Hi Pip,
I have two bumps too. We are Keeping an Eye on Them. My friend, Vet Joanne, measures them every time I see her. When will you have your bump removed? My person is concerned, and hopes it's not a bad bump.

I like the water. I am a good swimmer. I swim in the creek, in the river and in the lake. I have never swum in a pool, and I do not like a bath in the driveway with the hose.

We are having other dogs to stay with us this summer whilst their persons are on vacation. Right now we have Mia who is a golden retriever. She is 4, so younger than me. I'm not sure I like sharing my persons, but I am good. I do not think Maggie is coming back.

I have a Thunder jacket I wear when there is a storm or fireworks.

  2. Hi Doyle! I'm sorry you have Bumps also. Vet Charles takes my Bump away the Tuesday after next. Person found another small one so perhaps he will take that one away too.

I am sorry you have lost Maggie. I hope you have some fun with Mia and she's not too annoying for you. I wish I had a creek to swim in. Perhaps Person can put a Creek in my Yard?

Bye bye for now Doyle x

    Hi Pip,
This new dog that is staying with us while his family is on vacation is upsetting my persons. We know this dog. His persons are our neighbors at the Lake. He has been in our house at the Lake. I have swum with him at the Lake. My persons think he is a very nice dog. He is only about 4 years old, and is part yellow lab and part golden retriever. I think it is his front part that is lab, because he is being weird and stubborn. He does not want to play, he does not want to drink water or eat his dinner. He stays in my crate with the door open. He does not even want to go outside to go pee. Maybe his front part is not lab, because he doesn't care about treats. I have volunteered to eat his dinner and his treats, but persons say no. His persons called on the phone, and my person told them how he is acting. They say he is not scared, that he is sad. I don't care what he is. I want our life back to normal. We have another dog I know coming at the weekend to stay for a week. Maybe that will help. My man person calls it the Power of the Pack. We used to be a pack of three dogs. Now there is just me. Pip, do any of the dogs you live with ever act like this? Does your pack have power?

  4. It sounds like your New Dog who is Staying is a bit homesick. Perhaps he misses his own persons. I hope he goes soon for your sake. Now that you are an Only Dog you must work on being In Charge. I am the leader of My Pack. Person doesn't have Other Dogs to stay because she says we are quiet enough work thank you. Anyway, Milly might not be kind to a new dog in hour house, particularly if it was a female and it would take Person too long to teach her to be nice to it. I am having my Lump removed tomorrow. No breakfast:(

    Hi Pip,
You must eat a good dinner tonight and drink a lot of water to last you through tomorrow. Will you have stitches, staples or glue? I hope you do not have to have a cone. Cones are very annoying.

That other dog has been acting more normal. Persons are not worried anymore. I try to ignore him. He goes back to his family on Thursday.

    Good luck tomorrow, Pip.

    Your friend,
    Doyle

  6. I came back home and for hours and hours I wandered about whining. It hurt. I felt shaky and funny. Person offered me sardines, she offered me tinned food, she offered me cheese, she offered me milk. She offered me all the things I am normally not allowed. Yuk. This morning I am a bit better and I ate sardines with my tablet crushed in the I then ate tinned food. I then ate some of Milly, Zara and Pickle's raw food (I don't usually like raw food). I have done a bit of wandering around and moaning this morning but because I am now lying down and being quiet Person said she would talk to you for me, Doyle. I have Glue. I don't have a lampshade - yet. Persons threatens me with one if I don't stop licking. You will have your own home back to yourself tomorrow when your visitor goes back home. Bye Bye from Pip

    Hi Pip,
I hope you don't hurt any more. I have never had sardines. What is raw food? The family of the Labrador-Golden is going to pick him up today. He has slobbered over all my toys. My other friend is still here until Saturday, but she is calm. I don't mind her. She is part Golden, part Chow maybe. Persons say she looks like a big red fox. She has a thunder suit too. Last night there was thunder and rain. Persons put our suits on so we would not be scared.
