The Days are Getting Shorter
The Shadows are Getting Longer.
Person says it's because we Changed the Clock
(My Clock looks just the Same to me).
As the Long Grass Dies there are Different Smells
It is Dark Early.
I Eat my Tea Early.
Zara and Pickle are Bored.
Today I Tried to Get Up onto my Chair.
It was Too Difficult.
My Days are Getting Shorter too.
This was Me on My Chair.
Anyway, it will Soon be Christmas (whatever that is).

ReplyDeleteIt is too bad you can not sit in your chair anymore. It is very unfair, but we are not allowed on furniture. If there is a cozy bed you could be comfortable out of any draft and away from that Pickle dog. I have been having adventures. I have been at Deer Camp with the man and his friends. Dudley and Penny went too. There was a dead deer and I ate the nose. The woman says this is gross and tells the man to stop talking about it. I don't think it is gross. Sometimes I find a dead deer leg in the woods. The man thinks that is gross. I don't think that is gross either. The man says I would have been a good cadaver dog. I don't know what that is, but I am good at lots of things. Doyle
Hello Doyle! Don't worry about me. I'm perfectly happy. Person says I am Mellowing. I sleep and I eat and I go into the field. Sometimes I will run down the length of it - very fast - if I see a pigeon. Mellowing means I put up with Pickle. I ignore him. I wonder what a dead deer's nose tastes like. You wouldn't make a good cadaver dog because a cadaver dogs isn't supposed to eat the cadavers.

ReplyDeleteWe have been to the woods a lot, but I haven't found any deer parts lately. Penny likes to chew on the antlers I found, but I don't care. Dudley sleeps a lot like you. He must be mellow. When he sees a deer he is not mellow. He runs fast and sometimes later he hurts. We have a lovely new bed. Persons say Santa Claus has brought it for us. There is a tree in the house, and we have special food. I like snow, but we haven't had much this year. We have not had a fire in the house, so I have not been scared. Your friend, Doyle
Hello my Friend Doyle, someone told me that Santa Claus isn't real, but I still Pretend. He gave me a Carrot. I love Carrots. Person went to a client who hung their Christmas Tree Upside Down from the ceiling! This is because they have three dogs and they all peed on it. Now they can't reach it. I wouldn't pee on the Christmas Tree. Pickle might though.

Hello Pip, I love carrots too! I eat them every day. Penny eats them too. Dudley eats them cooked but not raw like Penny and me. I like broccoli, Brussels sprouts, cauliflower, zucchini - lots of vegetables. Person will send your person a photo of Penny. I did not see the New Year come, but I wish you a happy one too. Doyle
