Anyway, it was the Queen's Birthday Last Week.

Hello Pip – I hope your heat wave is over. I have not had my summer hair cut yet, so I am still very wooly. On Friday I will go to see my Valerie again and she will make me smooth and cool. Penny has been bothering me. Persons say it is because she is only two. Sometimes she barks at me and jumps on me. She wants to play but I want to sleep. Persons say I can snap at her to tell her no, but that would take too much energy and I am a nice dog. Last week Dudley chased four deer in the woods. He can still run fast, then he is very tired. ReplyDeleteI've told my Person that I want to come and live with you. She told me about your email. Like Dudley, I'm old but fine too. I have learnt to ignore Pickle when he jumps over me and sometimes onto me - always in passing because he's in such a hurry to get somewhere. I just sleep through it. You and I Doyle have learned that this behaviour is best ignored. Please tell me about your swims with Penny when you get back home.
