General Election. Choose Yellow for Free Doggy Daycare

On Thursday Persons will choose Red or Blue or Yellow or Purple or Green.

I Choose Yellow.

(I can't see Red and Purple and Green. They All Look the Same to me).

Person says Choosing Yellow offers Free Doggy Daycare to All Dogs.

I can see Blue too. That's why we have Blue Balls.

Person went a Bulldog named Boris. 

Person once went to a Jack Russell Terrier named Nigel.

(Person hasn't yet been to a Dog named Jeremy). 

Anyway, we don't need Doggy Daycare. We have Person and we have Sofas

We have Hidey-Holes. We have Toys.

We have our Field.

On this day Two Years Ago it was Snow. Today it's Very Windy.

I Don't Like Wind.

Lumps and Bumps, Moles and Holes

I used to be ACTION Dog. 

Now my Back Legs are Stiff. I am Deaf. I have Lumps and Bumps.

Outside in my Field, I Stand Still. Why Am I Here?

I began writing My Blog Fourteen-and-a-Half Years Ago. 

Little Pickle dug a Big Hole in my Field. 

Pickle dug Three Holes. Pickle is Digging a Tunnel.

He Scents MOLES.

Muddy Feet. Person Covered Pickles Holes.

Pickle has a Muddy Nose. 

Sometimes, just Sometimes, Little Pickle Stops Pickling.

When he Lies Down Pickle likes to Annoy Milly. Or Person. Or Zara.

Or ME.

Person says I am growing Very Patient in my Old Age.

I Sleep. I Rest. I Ignore Pickle.

Persons says Reading my Post makes her Sad.  I'm not Sad. I'm Happy.

Anyway, Person is Tired Out by taking me out in the Middle of the Night because I am Old and Can't Wait.

Person is Tired Out by Chasing After Pickle.

Sometimes I Forget things.

Person says I'm Lumpy and Bumpy now.

Pickle is Taking Over my Kingdom.

A Wood Pigeon and a Fluffy Baby Wood Pigeon are Nesting in the Vine.

Pickle would like to Catch and Eat the Baby Pigeon. Person has put up Wire Caging to keep Baby Pigeon Safe.

Milly Eats Apples.

I Don't Like Apples. Person says I'm Getting Fussy in my Old Age.

Zara Eats EVERYTHING. (Zara is a Labrador of course).

Anyway, I Remember now why I was Standing There. I was Going to My Bed.

Being Deaf is Peaceful

I am Deaf. I Can't Hear anymore.

But I'm a Sight Hound. I don't need Ears.

I  Can't Hear Pickle Barking anymore.

Person says that if Pickle was Deaf he wouldn't Bark.

(But Pickle doesn't Bark with his Ears. Pickle barks with his Mouth).

 

Milly has Very Good Ears for Barking. They stick up. 

Milly's Ears are Made For Listening.

I Can't Hear Person when she calls me in. 

She taps me gently. Then I Look. I can See what she's saying to me. 

Anyway. Pickle's Birthday is on the 26th June. Zara's Birthday is on the 26th June also. 

This is a Coincidence.

Pickle will be Nine. Zara will be Eight. 

I am Fourteen.

Being Deaf is Peaceful.

Easter Heat Wave

We had an Easter Kibble Hunt.

Person threw our food All Over the Grass.

Person calls it Enrichment 

We also had something called A Heat Wave

Milly does A Heat. I don't know about A Wave.

I should make a Bucket List.

It would begin with Go To The Seaside Again.

Here is Pickle. Pickle's Ball Keeps him Quiet.

Pickle needs More Enrichment. Person says he's a Working Dog Without a Proper Job.

Zara is a Good Dog.

Zara's a Labrador. My Dad was a Labrador. Mum was a Saluki mixed with a Whippet.

Anyway, it was the Queen's Birthday Last Week.

The Queen does A Wave. She doesn't do Heat anymore, person says.

Horse or Dog

I am Nearly FOURTEEN Years Old.

Person says that I do Strange Things.

Every evening, after Tea, I Stand and Bark.

Person says I Sound Hoarse.

I have a Reason for Barking. I just Forget what my Reason for Barking is.

Sometimes in the Field I Just Stand. And Look.

I have a Long Shadow.

Cold Outside

When it's Cold I have a Special Coat which is Clothes like Persons wear.

Milly doesn't need a Coat.

Pickle and Zara don't need Clothes like Persons wear either.  

Anyway, Pickle has Killed and Dismembered his Duck.
